Meet Fidelity Printing, Inc.

Serving Richmond and the Commonwealth for over 40 years. Now serving all of the USA.

The Beahr family’s history in the printing business began in 1949 when Henry Beahr first opened the doors of Southern Engraving Company in Richmond, Virginia. One of the only two engraving companies in the area, Southern Engraving Company provided engraving and printing services for the communities of Richmond and the Commonwealth.  In 1955 at the age of 12, Henry’s son, Wayne, joined his older brothers at the company and began working in the printing department hand type-setting during summer vacations and on weekends.  Finding interest in learning his father’s trade, Wayne later took a full-time position at the company and began following his father’s lead in management operations.  Running his business on solid Christian principles, Henry found great success with the company, and the family became known and valued business leaders in the community.

Henry retired in 1966, and that same year Wayne made a decision to continue the family printing legacy.  He partnered with Mr. Jack Walton, and opened J & W Printing in the later part of 1966.  Wayne’s older brothers, along with several other family members, took positions in operations.  Wayne acquired Mr. Walton’s portion of the business, and in 1989, J&W Printing was transformed into Fidelity Printing, Inc. His oldest son, Eddie became a partner.

In 2020, Eddie and Lisa Beahr took over as the new owners of Fidelity Printing Inc.  Four generations have added to the family’s printing trade history.  The Beahr family cherishes this history and the experience and dedication each employee brings to the team.  They continue to aspire daily to honor Henry’s original vision of offering high-quality, affordable, and friendly service to the community, and all faithfully look forward to the future and the continued blessing of success.
